The Silverlight toolkit is a set of controls for Silverlight that Microsoft created as an open source project in CodePlex, from these controls there is a DatePicker, a control that pops up a Calendar for the user to pick a date and then presents the selected date in a TextBox.

There is one scenario that this control do not support currently, and it is the selection of just a month and a year, a situation that sometimes comes in handy on an application, for instance to select the reports for a given month.
